  1. Transmissions From The Satellite Heart by The Flaming Lips ·
This is my favorite Flaming Lips record. I don't think it could have been any better. Not much amazing bass-playing on this record but he is able to play under all of the weird loud noises.

  2. Tales From The Punchbowl by Primus ·
Tales from the punchbowl is the fourth major-label full album from Primus. Wynona's Big Brown Beaver was written shortly after Les saw Winona Ryder. She was confused why Les wrote a song about her and a beaver. The record also includes songs ...(more)

  4. Awake Is The New Sleep by Ben Lee ·
This is a better record than "Breathing Tornados" or "Hey you, yes you". The bass playing wasn't very interesting, but it's good songwriting. There is one kind of sad, slow song on it that isn't that great, but overall it's a pretty good record....(more)

  5. Live Primus MP3's For Every Show From 03 To Now ·
Although you have to sign up for it, signing up is free. The shows only cost ten bucks which you'd end up spending for the concert anyway. It's not the same as a concert but it's an amazing sound quality.

  7. Plans by Death Cab for Cutie ·
This is this first album on Atlantic. I was a bit worried when I heard they were moving to a major label and leaving Barsuk. I have been a fan of them for a long time. This is truly a great record, though. http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/h...(more)

  8. Gimme Fiction by Spoon ·
I like this album alot more than their other ones, and those were great. "The Infinite Pet" is a great song. "Two Sides/Monsieur Valentine" has an awesome bassline in it, too. My favorite part of the record would have to be his odd noisy solos. ...(more)
