  1. ESP LTD B-104 ·
I chose this bass because I needed a good sounding rock bass for very little money. This is the perfect bass that fits these needs. I would repent at the loss of this bass, but I would probably not buy it again because I like to try new things(n...(more)

  2. Crate BFX15 ·
I wish I did not get this amp. I did not do my research before buying it, and now I'm paying for it. The sound quality is good, but the construction is not. It really wouldn't be that bad of an amp if it weren't for the price, which is the bigge...(more)

  3. Ibanez PD7 Phat-Hed Bass Overdrive ·
This unit is one of the best distortion pedals out there. I don't know of a cheaper pedal out there. The tone is very good, if you can find your tone.

  4. Boss CEB-3 Bass Chorus ·
Nothing could be better about this pedal. If you want a good chorus pedal, don't bother wasting your money on others. This one is perfect, and has a decent price.

  5. ...And Justice For All by Metallica ·
Definately a must have for any Metallica fan or any metal fan. Pretty much along the same lines as the other albums recorded; fast and heavy. Many people may give this album a bad review because the bass is barely audible, but I don't think that...(more)

  6. Boss BF-3 Flanger ·
I looked at several other pedals and I chose this one because of the reputation of boss, the number of options the pedal has, and the good reviews on the pedal. I would definately buy this pedal again if it were stolen. There's nothing that I do...(more)

  7. Yorkville XM200T ·
I chose this amp after doing research on ALL amps in its class. I chose this amp because it is incredibly powerfull, it is well worth the money, and it sounds awesome. I would without a doubt grieve at the loss of this amp, and then buy another....(more)

  8. Gibson Thunderbird ·
This is a pretty good bass. I absolutely love the Thunderbird look. It serves great as a rock bass, and gives a decent array of tones (within the rock genre that is). However, it is extremely expensive, far too much if you ask me. This brings do...(more)

  9. Boss GEB-7 Bass Equalizer ·
If you think you my be hindered by having only 3 or 4 eq knobs on your amp, you are right. I felt the same way, and when I got this, I couldn't believe how I played without one. Everyone should have a graphic eq of some sort to have complete con...(more)

  10. Rickenbacker 4003 ·
As far as comparison, only a ric sounds like a ric. It's cliche, but very true. It is an expensive bass, and should only be considered if you absolutely love the sound it makes. The only thing I never enjoyed was the feel of the painted neck, bu...(more)

  11. Pro Co Rat2 ·
It's difficult to rate this overall, because technically it's not made for the bass. If you want it for wailing metal solos, couple it with a wah pedal and it's easily a 5. If you want a fat fuzz tone, it's mediocre, say a 3. If you use it to ex...(more)

  12. Boss DD-3 Digital Delay ·
A very unique effect for the bass. It works just as well for bass as it does for guitar. Only get this if you know what you are getting into, or if you just want to get into some serious experimentation. Otherwise, 95% of you will find this peda...(more)

  14. Rotosound Solo Bass ·
These are close to swingbass strings. Slightly more pronounced bass and not as harsh on the treble. A wonderful compliment to Rickenbackers; they add a nice vintage low growl while at the same time provide adequate treble and harmonic elements t...(more)

  15. Yorkville XC115XC ·
I am going to rate this based on its use with the Yorkville 200T combo amp. This cab is designed to go under the combo amp. It really fills in the bottom end for a well rounded sound. It also makes you sound more present because of more speaker ...(more)

  17. D'Addario EXL170 ·
These are pretty basic strings that can bring out the good qualities in your bass and your technique. If either of these things are lacking, the strings aren't really to blame. The price is excellent on these strings; you can get two sets for ab...(more)
