Before finalizing on this bass, I played on some Warwicks, Conklins, Pedullas, MusicMan Stingrays, Fenders, Yamahas, and found that the BTB was the sound, feel, and price I was looking for. It had all the features the higher-end basses had, it h...(more)

I didn't really compare it with many....I was in need of an amp right then and there and I only had $700 to work with. I think the only other amp I was considering was the SWR Workingman 15, which I felt was less powerful and articulate than the...(more)

This is a very simple, straightforward amp at a reasonable price. I looked at various Peaveys, GK's, lower-end SWR's, Hartkes, and was most pleased overall with this amp. If it were stolen, I would probably save up and purchase a used SVT3Pro (1...(more)

Fantastic site!!! I never thought setup and intonation was this easy - even for my dual truss monster :) anyone with a tuner and some basic tools can do this. I'll never take a bass into the shop for a setup again.

I was looking for an inexpensive cab to use for practice and the occasional gig, and was prepared to sacrifice some tonal quality for the price. I am relieved that I didn't have to make any sacrifice whatsoever with this cab. If it were stolen, ...(more)

I am overall very pleased with this bass. In the 3 solid years I gigged with it, it never let me down and has provided me with awesome tone that I have been proud of ever since the day I bought it. The only thing I lament on is that I bought thi...(more)

Washburn XS-5

I bought it as a backup/project bass to trade off playing my BTB. The selling point to me was the unique finish, EMG pickups, and the narrow neck - all of which turned out exactly the way I hoped they would. This is a nice midrange quality bass ...(more)

I wanted to replace the wimpy 'sheetmetal' bridge on my SX Jazz copy with something more heavy duty, without the need of saddle slotting and certainly without the need of shelling out a lot of cash. This bridge is very well-made for the price, a...(more)

Simply put, this bass absolutely rocks! I was initially looking to replace the Ibanez 5 string I sold a while back, but instead I stumbled across the Pilot Pro in my local GC's used section. Pulled it down, plugged it in, and was blown away by h...(more)
