    Hi Kelly, You're a smoked salmon fan I take it!! I use a cheap electric smoker call "True North". It is the same as the "Little Chief" smoker that is more popular. I use either hickory or alder to do the smoking. PM me if you ever want a recipe.

    Thanks Patrick, Shuffles are cool. Some rock sounds good in a shuffle style too. <br /><br />BTW I just got your "Dummies" book and so far I love it. The part about the 'strings go on the outside' really improved my sound. &lt;g&gt;

    I suppose as a solo it's Ok, but I can't think of any music where a bass line like that would sound good. Call me old fashioned if you like but I think a bass should have 4 strings. There are great players out there who can make a 4-string sound...(more)
