I blew my behringer amp like 6 or 7 times in a house with dodgy wiring. luckily was only a fuse each time and the replacements came with a good few spares.

the standard p bass neck is 4mm wider than the jazz bass. 42mm (1.65") nut rather than the 38mm (1.5") found on the skinny jazz bass... just to clarify :-)

I never liked the way fender looked but after a while it really grew on me so hard till I had to buy one.
Don't quote me on this but I always thought p basses had a 1.75 nut width where as the jazz basses had a 1.5 slim as you can get without ...(more)

Uk Awarding bodies all award up to grade 8. They stop there coz then you can tell kids that are exagerating about how good their big brother is when he's like grade 10 or summut.

I understand the difference in voices. I've sung in various choirs and bands for as long as I can remember, the comment comes because mens vocal pieces are usually written for tenor and bass (unless we are talking traditionalist opera with 6 voi...(more)

That's exactly what i opted for. I usually play folk, jazz and rock and do it all improvised so I don't actually know any pieces. I've just ordered up a good volume of classical pieces grade 1-5 so I'm gonna work my way through those.

I was always told that baritones were usually singers that are too lazy to train themselves specifically as either tenors or basses. I'm a baritone, I'm lazy.
