Vic showed me and some other guys at his BassCamp how to play this song and there was not one double or triple thump in the entire thing, it's all open hammer pluck, just so you know.

One part of the strap locks fits into your strap, and is held on by a C clip so It can be a pain if you want to change straps. On that part there is a button on the outside and a rod sticks out about 10mm on the inside (the side toward your bass...(more)

We learned so much that I havn't even had time to let most of it sink in yet, if you go bring a tape reccorder so you can listen to the lessons later, there is so much information that you won't remember it all.

The balance was about 3 to 1 bass to nature. And I think you'd be surprised about how interesting the nature stuff was, they tied alot of it into bass playing, it was really cool.

The range of skill level was HUGE, there were some GREAT players (non-teachers) and some people who seemed like they just started. On the first day everybody had to play in front of the whole group... that was frightening as hell. But by the end...(more)

I would go with the Warwick. The reason being that the warwick's tone, especially in the upper registers is much more 'sophisticated' for lack of a better word. They are totally different animals and personaly I would think of the Ric like a hip...(more)

And the sad thing is that was already the case with SWR. There stuff has been getting lower and lower in quality since Steve Rabe sold the company about 4 years ago. I don't even want to know what fender will do.....
