Ok Jim this is how you do it.
First, find your fretless candidate.
1.Remove the neck from the body, then get yourself a ravor blade, soldering iron, small needlenose pilers and painters tape.

Options on a fretless are very wide open. YOu have to find what sounds the best for your style of playing. I did the Jaco thing, Converted my 5 string and coated it with varathane floor finish. Round wounds dont eat threw, and nice br...(more)
