This is something I use to sit and do just for the practice of playing octives, streching the finger's, and getting to know the feel of the entire neck. I set the tempo at 80 BPM but as you get the feel of it pick up the pace. As always, HAVE FUN

Boogie Woogie In A (#22681) by David Adkins (12462)
This is a fairly simple bass lick that can be used about 100 different ways. I have used this lick in numerous songs. I do change it around by adding and dropping notes from time to time just so it doesnt always sound the same.

Another 12 Bar Blues Lick (#22349) by David Adkins (12462)
This is just a 1-4-5 blues lick in the key of "B". A band I was in was playing a lot of blues and everything was starting to sound the same to me. I wanted something to sound a little different so I came up with this. I hope you enjoy it.

Just something to give beginners an idea of what can be done with open strings. It might seem a little fast to a beginner but it is actually pretty easy once you get use to it.

Finger Exercise (#22655) by David Adkins (12462)
Use your pointer finger on the #4 note(F#). Use your middle finger on both #5 notes (D & G). Use your ring finger on the #6 note (G#) and use your pinky finger on the #7 Note (A). This should help build some strenth and coordination in your fingers.
