Ronnie Duisters has published 9 lessons, sorted by
1. M2M: More Cross-handed Tapping (#2944)
Another bassline from 'The Mice that made us Men' from my solo-cd 'Cyclic Redundancy Check'. It's the bridge which includes cross-handed tapping.
Experimental · Expert · 5099 Hits · 5.00 / 5 (4 ratings) · Last Modified: 4/18/01
2. Carnaval Festival (#2846)
This is a very funny song. It is the melody of a very popular attraction in a dutch theme park. The way I tabbed it, you need a big spread of your fingers (using 2-5 position). That's good to train your fingers and endurance!
Basics · Beginner · 2409 Hits · 4.60 / 5 (5 ratings) · Last Modified: 4/12/01
3. Stickleback Slap: Toxic Tango (#4208)
This Slap Riff is the key to the Toxic Tango. The song is from my new CD which isn't out yet. So don't use my bassline in your recordings, please! :0) Slap your way through it!
Funk/R&B · Advanced · 3064 Hits · 4.50 / 5 (6 ratings) · Last Modified: 7/20/01
4. M2M: Cross-handed Tapping (#2941)
This groove originates from a solo-song: 'The Mice that made us men' from my first cd 'Cyclic Redundancy Check' (info can be found on my homepage http://www.stickleback.cjb.net).
Experimental · Advanced · 4810 Hits · 4.20 / 5 (15 ratings) · Last Modified: 4/18/01
5. We Can't All Be Heroes - Solo (#17975)
Again a high-range melodic bassgroove, now with the open-string technique. This is the solo of 'we can't all be heroes' from the album with the same title from my 'stickleback'-project.
Theory/Reference · Advanced · 2070 Hits · 4.20 / 5 (5 ratings) · Last Modified: 3/21/05
6. Stickleback - Ballad For Sammy (#10013)
This is a song from my new album: "We can't all be heroes" that will be released soon. The song consists of only 3 chords, but varies in dynamics and bassline structure. Here are the basics of the chorus and the bridge (saxophone solo).
Acoustic/Folk · Advanced · 3059 Hits · 4.00 / 5 (4 ratings) · Last Modified: 2/16/03
7. Axial - Dubious (#8136)
I once created this bassline for Axial, a band of mine which stopped some years ago. We were kind of a progressive rockband with a female singer. The bassline is played in the bridge of the song 'Dubious'.
Reggae · Intermediate · 7600 Hits · 3.75 / 5 (12 ratings) · Last Modified: 8/28/02
8. HRMBG: Stringwise (#17964)
This lesson belongs to what I call high-range melodic bassgrooves. I want to write a book on this topic, but havent found the time yet. This is the stringwise technique to play high-range melodic basslines.
Theory/Reference · Intermediate · 904 Hits · 3.00 / 5 (2 ratings) · Last Modified: 3/17/05
9. Floating Point (YLeM) (#4050)
This Bassline is the intro of Floating Point by my band YLeM. It shows some interesting cross-handed tapping.
Experimental · Advanced · 1566 Hits · No rating · Last Modified: 7/6/01
