Sorry about the stuff on my face, but you can still see the bass. Westone GT Spectrum
Hi my name is Justin Douglas, and I have been playing bass for seven years now. I am 19 years old, and in an alternative rock band called, Embarrassingly Pure.
What makes me a unique bass player?
What makes my bass playing unique is that with an alternative rock band, I use the major and minor scales extensively, staying away from roots of the chords as much as possible without causing confusion. I use alot of ninths and tenths to really over regular triad major and minors to give the whole band a more melodic feel. Using appreigos with those intervals (amongst others obviously) makes for great intros.
