Hi, my name is Iain, I'm an amature player with a very broad interest in musical styles, from punk to clasical, metal, jazz, flamenco, etc...wish I could play at least a few of these styles, but I don't play as well as i should considering I have played for around 25 years, with an 8 year break, and I don't practice enough - never been good at structuring the little time I have to spend playing.

My band experience. I am at present playing in a blues band, check out www.swampdawgs.co.uk been together since June 2007, and only managed to get a few gigs so far. I have been in five bands in the past, some good some not so good! Feel free to drop me a line, i'd love to hear from fellow players, and perhaps pick up some tips on good things to listen to, you rearly hear good bass on mainstream radio, the best thing is word of mouth (wasn't that a certain bass players band?). Groove on....
