Deep Pocket
Greetings fellow bass players, I started out playin acoustic guitar about 8 years ago right before I started at Martin Guitar. Realizing I was more of a rhythm player I decided to pick up a bass about 5 years ago, since then I can't put it down. (3yrs dedicated and counting) There's nothing like holding down the pocket. And I'm always up for a 15min Jam. "Always remember your role as a Bass Player" JPJ
Finger-Pickin' good
I give full respect to pick players. Personally, I need to really FEEL the groove and I can't fully do that with a pick in my hands. It's like a connection between my bass and me. You can feel the bass instead of just hearing it. My basses include MAIN - Fender Jazz Deluxe(mexi) - Peavey Grind NTB 5string - (SOLD)Martin Alternative X. I play through an Ashdown MAG300-115 combo w/ Ashdown "deep" 2x10 ext. cab.
