I am Mark and I live in Stockton California. I've been learning how to play bass through this site and some theory books. To be honest, I don't think it's going so well. I have fun doing it anyway. I've been playing mostly on a Washburn Oscar/Schmidt E/A and a small Dean Markley Bass Amp. That is until recently. My wife bought me an SX Bass. I just put some Flat Wounds on it, and I plan on making the set up a bit better. I really enjoy the SX but it is super heavy.

I enjoy many types of music probably every thing except Opera. I do believe in God and I truly believe that Christ is my savior. I also am involved in an alcoholic recovery program and have been since 2003.
