Bass up your Ass
A bit about myself: I am a beginner at bass. I have no intention of hiding this fact. I started playing im Mid March 2006 with a friend's old Instrument. That being said, I love the electric bass. I definitely plan on pursuing it as one of my main hobbies. I am 19 years old and live in Kent, OH.
This is what I'm currently using, an Ibanez SR305 5 string.
About my lessons...
I want to emphasize that virtually all the lines and riffs from my lessons are not my work. That's why they are so good. The material I use is stuff I come across that challenges me and helps me improve, and I am here to share it with you. I'm really not qualified to guide other people. Still, I feel that my lessons should be very helpful to people of all skill levels.
Musical Influences
• In terms of bass playing, metal bassists like John Myung, Dave LaRue, Stefan Fimmers, Alex Webster, and Tony Levin
• I listen to a broad range of metal: A few of my favorite bands are Dream Theater, Symphony X, Nile, Necrophagist and Andromeda
• more bands I like: Nevermore, Cryptopsy, Children of Bodom, LTE
