I'm Back At It.
Hello all. I'm 23, and I've played bass for about six years. I don't count the last five years or so, because after some major problems with bands I was in, I burnt out on music, and I honestly never thought I'd be back to the bass, but one day a couple months ago I popped in some Jaco, and I thought to myself, "what was I thinking?" So I'm trying to make a comeback. I'm thinking about doing some more teaching, which I did a bit of before I basically quit all my musical endeavours, so if anybody out there has any tips on how to be a decent teacher, or even a great one, I would be more than indebted. I am also beginning to look at joining or putting together a band. I'd love to just freelance, but that's not an option around here. Anyway, I appreciate any correspondence or feedback from any of you, please feel free to check out the lessons I have posted, and of course please rate them and let me know if you love them or hate them, and it's an honour to be here.
