Look at my new little girl I made it Myself is a Cuatro. Puerto Rico's National String instrument. It is tuned like a bass BEADG but with dual strings it is a melodical instrument. These are the main construction photos first look at that brick of wood, it is pure honduras mahogany certified to have 214 years. A great piece of wood. don't worry I kept a piece of it to make a bass body. Then it is me borying and sawing the wood in it's first step to be my instrument. Then look at the master luthier is a neighbor of my granny he is teaching me how to make the instrument (and helping me ofcourse) here is him with the top of the instrument glued on an then there is the cuatro upon it's last stages of process just before painting for those who think about it. it is a real joy to make an instrument, you know what you got on hands from the wood to the hardware all hand picked and worked. It is like a real son to me
