I definitely play "other"...
Love many kinds of music, and play a mix of rock, funk, spacey, and odd. I like different time signatures when it makes sense, sounds good, and taste to use them. Not for the sake of using a different 'time'. Also play guitar out of necessity for the home recording I do. I use a Fostex MR16-HD with assorted gadgets and effects. Carvin Bolt Kit guitars, a 2006 RavenWest 6 string, which is my main bass. Also use a Brice Defiant 6 string fretless. Love that one, as well as the Raven. And I play bass lefty strung lefty, and guitar lefty strung righty. Somehow, it all works out.
