Edwin: Master of the Bass Guitar (in training)
Hey buddies! I'm Edwin! I enjoy bass, my girlfriend, bass, more girlfriend, and then some bass. I'm currently in between bands (in the middle of an ending band.), and enjoy almost all types of music (although I cannot yet play all types). I've been playing bass for about a year (and 4 months), and have not taken any formal lessons (a.k.a. learn from websites like this and guys in guitar center). I play a 5-String Fender P-Bass and a 4-String Yamaha RBX160 (which I made Fretless). I play out of a 1973 Peavy Mach III, and use D'darrio strings.
Musical Influences etc...
My main musical influences would probably be Primus, Herbie Hancock, Weather Report, Yngwie Malmsteen, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Stuart Hamm, Bootsy, Victor Wooten etc...
Favorite Recordings
• Chameleon - Herbie Hancock
• Fugue in D Minor - Bach
• Classical Thump - Victor Wooten
