Introduction to the Webbman
Hello all! My name is Webb Pickersgill and I've been a bassist for 17 years. I play mostly Progressive Rock/Metal influenced music on the electric bass, and I have a degree from the University of Delaware in Music Education(concentration, Double-Bass).
Gear:I play a Kubicki Factor, with Hartke Systems cabinets. (Stu Hamm fan, can you tell) I used to play a Yamaha TRB6P bass, but sold it to buy an engagement ring... yeah yeah... I'm looking to buy it again sometime soon. 6 Strings are such dynamic instruments!I was so into 6 strings a few years back that I actually built one.. I went to home depot, bought the wood, etc... I'm playing the home-made fretless in my picture.
Software:I also wrote The The Electric Bass Companion software. On 9/12/02 I released the newest version, 2.5. Check it out, and let me know what you think. (Of course feel free to register it ;)

More to come...
I've been hanging out at Active Bass for a while now, but I don't get into FretBuzz on a daily basis. I have a lot of experience, and I am anxious to share my knowledge of the bass with everyone here. I like posting lessons that have some MEAT to them. Check out my lessons if you like 2-handed tapping stuff!!!
I look forward to getting to know a bunch of you here in this community. If anyone has a question, please feel free to ask.
BTW: I recently had endoscopic surgery to correct carpal tunnel syndrome! Advise to everyone: Take care of your hands, and give them plenty of rest! See Ya!
