MINNEAPOLIS BASSIST
Hello thanks for checking out my home page. I am a 28 year old Minneapolis based bassist, who has been playing for 11 years 8 of which have been as a pro. I work in alot of different bags including Jazz, Blues, Country, Fushion, R&B, and Theatre. Jazz is my focus as a musician, but I enjoy all of the above as musical expression. I spent 5 years backing Blind Pig recording artist Renee'Austin who's new disc features a wonderful duet with Delbert McClinton. I now tour with a modern country band in support of our new record, check us out at www.eagleriverband.com. Feel free to check my lessons, and send me a rating, or just send a message saying hello if you feel like it.

WHO and WHAT.
I have had the privilege to study under some of the best bassist in the world including Anthony Cox (Joe Lavano), Danny Pliskow (head of the bass dept Wayne State University in Detroit MI),Tom Knific (Dave Brubeck), Terry Burns (Head of bass dept Music Tech College of Music) Gary Raynor (Prarie Home Campanion), Jay Young (Weather Report). I hold a degree in bass performance from McNally Smith school of music. My main bass is a Yamaha TRB6 with my backup bass being a Brice 6 string. For amplification I endorse SWR and currently use a super red head combo with a son of bertha 15''cab, I also use a Hartke kickback 15'' for smaller clubs and as my Double bass rig. My Double bass is a 1931 Gibson 3/4 blonde with violin corners, I use a combination of the David Gage realist pickup, with the Fishman pickup.
