I am an exiled Texan (from Copperas Cove) playing bass with The Rat Rod Kings. We do only originals and have been working on our first CD. It is an Outlaw Country/Rockabilly/Cow-Punk style. We can be found on http://www.reverbnation.com/ratrodkings

Digging My Gear!
I have two Fenders: a Geddy Lee Jazz, a Hot Rod Red Jaguar all chromed up, and a Fender Squier Mustang that I also chromed up. For amplification: I have a Carvin BX1500, a Mark Bass CMD-121 - that's a 1x12 (300w @ 4 ohms/500w @ 4 ohms); a Little Mark Tube 800 amp, & two Markbass 1x12 Travelers extension cabs. My main cab is a custom Schroeder 4x12. I have a used Yamaha Keyboard and a PA system consisting of a Crate PX900 powered mixer (9-channel) and Peavey 12" speakers (PR12's). I also own a Franken-Drum kit made up of Pearl, Pacific, Ludwig, and Apollo parts. Even my cymbals are piecemeal with a Sabian hi-hat, one Pearl ride, and a no-name crash!
