AT LAST
Well I decided that it was about time that I at least made a small effort in producing this homepage. After all I have been using this site for ages. Anyway a little about myself to start with I think. My name is Alex people call me Al, but that’s Okay, I been could worse. I live in a semi industrial town near Birmingham, England’s second city they call it, but we call it Brum. Now Brum is a great place loads of clubs and bars, art centres and theatres. My little town is called Smethwick. Smethwick is a multi racial community; this has led to a very wide range of musical influences from all over the world.

A LITTLE MORE
I have so many musical influences it hard to just pick a favourite, most from the sixties, seventies and eighties, but check out this group from San Francisco. B.R.M.C http://www.blackrebelmotorcycleclub.com there’re good, raw, and basic rock, with a feeling to their music that is lacking in a great many groups today. So what do I play, well I got me a fender jazz about 2 years old. The sound system is a Laney Linebacker 300 amp with a pair of full range speakers (14 inch 400w and a 17 inch 500w bass speaker). Sound effects are from a bass v-amp pro by Behringer it does the job.I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone that has contributed to this site and its lessons, without which a good many bassists would have given up. Thanks to you all.
I have to list my favourite lessons, there is about 50 that I have bookmarked, so I just picked 2.
