I am 32 years old and have been playing bass for almost 16 years. Due to my obcession with bass and the internet, it is amazing that I haven't been here longer.
What can I say, I LOVE BASS! It is the musical gel that glues the rest of the band together. I love to hear it real loud so that you can feel your insides shake when you play. I also fool around on guitar and drums although God only gave me the talent for Bass.
What I really enjoy doing here is sharing tips and techniques that I enjoy with other bassists. I also enjoy learning from other bassists as well.
My favorite techniques involve: slapping,tapping, popping and raking. Pretty much anything that your hand can do to make a joyfull sound from the bass.
My favorite styles of music range from speed metal to funk/fusion. I also like Latin music.
