Hi
I've been coming here alot and found some pretty cool stuff. I'm mainly into epic, symphonic, and film score metal; However, I'll occasionly listen to classic rock, classical composers (mozart and bach), and a little jazz on the side (Charles Mingus, Ron Carter).
I started playing bass when I was 10 years old. My first bass was a Yamaha BBG4, a pretty good first bass, in my opinion. I had bass guitar lessons for about a year but didn't learn much. So almost everything I know now is a result of teaching myself. I'm now 16, and I'm involved with a melodic metal.
"How do you get that whistle sound when you talk?"
My large pile of gear includes:
Amps: Fender B15, Hartke Kickback 15, Hartke VX3500. Current amp: B4-R still need to buy a cab, just borrowing one for the moment.
Effects: ADA MB-1
Basses: Carvin LB75F 5-string fretless (nicknamed the "linebacker") and......the Fender Stu Hamm Signature Urge II bass!
Next Purchase: Ampeg cab
