I am 16 years old , started playing the bass 11 months ago and still suck but thats ok. I try to play every day, I have a standard shortscale bass by Hamer but I just got a fender standard p bass [made in mexico] a couple months ago. I want to be in a friggin band and kill people... or just be in a band. I like to play with picks and fingers, recently learning slap also. What to say... what to say... I like blink 182, been listening to them every since dude ranch, like nada surf, weezer, blur, foofighters, greenday, good charlotte, chili peppers, nirvana, nofx, the ataris, mxpx, fenix tx, and nerf herder, heh, probably never heard of nerf herder but they're good. Hmm.. thats pretty much it... i just changed from fender nickelplated steel roundwound strings to ernie ball hybrid slinkys, very different sound, but i like it. I bought a peavey microbass amp and it makes these weird sounds, like crackles and gets all static-y and crazy, i want to break it, you probably dont care, ill shut up now...
