I look short, but I'm sitting on my amp (really)
What's a Header?
Hello and welcome to my page of overblown opinions and general delerium regarding the art of bass guitar manipulation or, comb and waxpaper bi-labial fricative accompanyment (your choice). All induced by chronic late night channel viewage while simultaneously listening to Trout Mask Replica at 78 speed, and too many cream soda's sucked nervously through cherry licorice whips. I am a proud 27 year veteran although you wouldn't know it to listen to me play. I'm just happy to pretend I'm 19 (since I've been playing since I was 19, a late bloomer of sorts) and to flail at any wood furnishing with big strings.
I am viewed playing an Ibanez 5 string in the pic, but I change basses like some folks change socks... Recently I purchased a Toby Pro 4, a Toby Pro 5, a Fernandes 6, and an Epiphone El Capitan 4 acoustic. Stick around to see which ones I keep! UPDATE: 10/26/03 Yep! I sold every one of those basses! Ha-Ha!!
Now I'm a committed Warwick player.
Um...
Oh yeah!! I've played almost every style of music you can imagine. Punk, Country, Blues, Funk-Harcore, Top-40, Jazz-fusion. I have the dreaded 'Artiste' syndrome which seemed to strike squarely in the middle of any given tenure and begged the question: Why? Some think I'm a music genre snob. Actually, I'm just a snob. I do have a little MP3 site up... It's music my former nephew by marriage and I recorded on various and sundry analog equipment way back in 1995. Would you like to see it? Maybe I should give you the URL?
Okay!...

It's loud, sloppy and gritty and well... it was a Blast to do!! I am currently working on a compilation of solo sludge that has been floating in my head like an algae encrusted cork for over 10 years. It's going to be very novel! Have fun banging on your instruments!! More later...
p.s. I am available for studio work, tours, backyard barbecues (vegetables only Please), birthday parties, swimming pool dedications, dinner for two, champagne in a jaccuzzi, state fairs (not as a livestock entrant or sideshow participant) and other gigs involving copious amounts of positive life energy. (hey! that sounds pretty hippie-fied doesn't it?)
