Ibanez Bass, Jet Black and Homer....can it GET any better then this ?????
We all stand on the shoulders of giants, and our job is to use what they came up with to help us come up with something new, which in turn helps the cats after us to come up with something even newer..... *fellow ABer Patrick Pfeiffer*

Hey HEY !!!!

I'm a 44 year old Canadian bassin' the blues(among other things) for 20+ years and still lovin' it !!!

JET BLACK is the name of the band I'm in. We're a female vocalist driven 5 piece cover band doing stuff from Journey,Kansas,Styx,AC/DC and some classic rock THIS is the band I've always wanted to be in
I'm DIGGING this !!!

You can find more Eddie pics and junk at Eddie's PictureTrail

Throw me a penny and I'll make you a dream
You find that life's not always what it seems...no no
Love isn't money...it's not something you buy
Let me fill myself with tears you cried

I'll give you a star
So you know just where you are
Someday...some way...you'll feel the things I say
Dream for a while
Of the things that make you smile
'Cause you know
Don't you know
Oh, you know
That I'm....your wishing well

R.I.P Ronnie James Dio

Special thanks to my AB buddy Jenn Damere for showing me how to upload pics !

Ed the Sock with Big John Wallace - Aug 22/2010

EDDIE FAQS
Born in 1966 in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia,Canada.I was the oldest of 3 growing up in a small backwards village just outside of town.
There was always music in my house,my folks "entertained" a lot.
Mom and Grandmere played guitar and they were always out and active.
Country music *gag* was the norm but once in a while someone would grab the guitar and slop out some blues.

Unbeknownst to me,that would be my first intro to blues...I picked up guitar first but I couldn't get a grasp on the techniques so I gave up...
It would be many moons before I eventually picked up the bass and fell in love !!!

I guess I was always a bass player at heart

Played for years thru a 1980 Ibanez Roadster and Peavey Mark III...I still have them, but they are retired. Also, just retired my Eden D-110W....I'm practicing at home thru that and my Peavey

Now I play an Ibanez SR 480 named COLD ETYHL ,with NEW Naimish Bridge installed (did a review on it here at AB)through a Carvin R600 with Eden "David Series" cabinets (D-210XLT...that I just got from ABer Brian Sharpe + D-115 ) along with a Boss TU 2 tuner and a Samson Airline wireless system chucked in for good measure !!!!! Can you say MOBILITY ??????

Eddie the Sock...by April!!!!!

Cold Ethyl sporting Naimish Bridge

Like any good blues bassline, the choices I make,in terms of articulation of the notes and the shape of the line, are dictated by the FEEL of the music at any given moment.---Tommy Shannon
