How I started
I started playing early July 2001. My first bass was one I got from my dead uncle. It was a old 70's Fender Bullet and made for girls. It didnt sound very good but I learned my basics on it and now it is locked away cause its worth lots. It was a whole year learning ow to play from two bass teachers until finally I got a new bass and life.
Right Now
I have a Yamaha bass made of Ashwood and it is exteremely light weight. The neck is great, the condition is great, everything is great. I listen to people and bands like: Jaco Pastorious, Led Zeppelin, Aerosmith, and The Beatles for inspiration. i also love Wagner, Beethoven, and other Classical Composers. I am a Freshman at Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, Washington. I am in the Men's Chorus, Chapel Choir, Jazz Chior, Chorale, and a Jazz Combo; I both play and sing Bass. I am a Vocal/Composition Major and I shall be an Opera Singer or Composer or Professor. Hope I can teach you something!
