Hi!
This is my home away from home(wholenote). It is a place where I can put aside the monster 3 octave arrpegios of the guitar, and carve out a funky bass line. Ahhhh....

The greatest thing is that I wrote that quite a few years ago, before I could really play a 'monster' 3-octave arrpegio.

So Who am I?

I'm a guitarist from the SF bay area, finishing up my bachlors in Physics at UC Berkeley, and contemplating that next big step in life. I grew up in the area and started playing music in high school as something to have identity around. I'm a lover of learning, which means that I try to pick up and play everything that I touch. I mostly distract myself with beatboxing, piano, and drums these days. When I'm not playing guitar that is.

I wrote a lesson here that's gotten a good reaction out of a lot of people, and I really want to thank everyone who wrote me with their thoughts about it. Its become something that I'm really proud of, and I'm sure I'll get around to making another lesson someday when I get over the fear of the sophmore slump. For now, I'm just enjoying Activebass as a place where I can always come and learn about what it means to be in the enigmatic, often underappreciated, yet deeply rooted position that is being a bass player.
