Welcome To My Corner of Active Bass
Bassist Neil Bertrand started his musical journey at the age of 15. Over the years he has played for numerous bands in a variety of different sytles including Big Daddy, Robyn Hayze and most notably, progressive metal band When Angels Die. Over the last few years Neil has also played live with Levi Ministries and Justin Barnard. Throughout his career Neil has been noted not only for his technical proficiency but also his sense of melody, taste and style. Having run the gamut from rock, jazz, country and gospel, Neil and When Angels Die guitarist Richard Tull have decided to reform the group that garnered them recognition in the Dallas area. Leaning towards a heavy progressive sound, When Angels Die is the consumate musician's band. Always the passionate musician, Neil is constantly exploring new avenues of expression that combine solo bass pieces as well as ensemble compositions.
