I'm Sam, I play bass for Broken Hero, a punk rock outfit out of San Ramon, California. We have an under construction mp3.com site as well as an official website (which isn't up at the moment). I guess we would still be considered a garage band, but we kick a-- anyway. We recently got a new drummer, but still need someone who can actually sing well (no offense to our guitarist). Broken Hero is heavily influenced by many bands off of Fat Wreck Chords as well as certain groups from Epitaph. Our guitarist also has a number of metal influences, which has shaped our sound differently (i.e. overdrive and distortion). My bass playing style is heavily influenced by bands such as Good Riddance, Lagwagon and Diesel Boy.
