Hi!
Well, Ricks are my thing, I've tried others and eventually let them go and acquired more Rick basses. I've got 3 now: 1976 4000 FG (FireGlo:red sunburst), 1977 4001 White (yellowed to a banana colour), and a 1981 4080 JG (JetGlo:black). Always looking for more. I've been playing bass since I was 14, and now dabble in guitar and should get off my butt and learn to play piano since we bought one, I just haven't got around to it yet. I play mostly classic type rock and blues, but listen to some instrumental Jazz, plenty of classical, mainly piano heavy pieces, and some eclectic pop groups such as the Smiths, REM. Cocteau Twins, some alternative (1980s definition of alternative that is).
