Bottom Line: The Bottom Line Mailing List |

The Bottom Line Mailing List is one of the oldest and most valuable resources for bass players on the Internet.
Started in 1991 by Steve Manes, it is a free and private listserv to which one subscribes and posts messages. Each message
that is posted is collected in a daily digest and distributed to all subscribers on the list. The Bottom Line
is also moderated, ensuring a high level of quality in the discussions.

To subscribe to the Bottom Line Mailing List, send a message to majordomo@magpie.com, and be sure to include this line in the body of the message text:
subscribe bass-digest
Within a few minutes, you should receive a message from the mailing list asking you to confirm your request. Use your mailer's "Reply to Sender" function to send the message back to majordomo@magpie.com.
Note: When you respond to confirm your subscription, make sure you remove any quote marks (>) in the authorization message from the front of the line beginning with the word "auth".
Your confirmation assures that there are no problems sending or receiving mail between your system and the mailing list. It also prevents you from being subscribed to a mailing list without your permission.
