THE DEFINITIVE Gov't Mule recording in this reviewer's opinion. Live, raw, muscular and intelligent power-trio blues rock. Strong bass playing by the late great Allen Woody. Interesting to note that after the performance was recorded it was discovered that Allen's bass mic was dead...so all the bass on this CD was picked up by his vocal mic. Still sounds great. A real honest recording with no post-production overdubs. It remains one of my all time favorites, and is a great study in power-trio bass playing.
