There are no longer any accessible BassTabs available from what I could see....all pulled for legal reasons!!
Too bad....

This was a great site when it was up, they are no longer giving out tabs apparently some kind of legal mumbo jumbo
Very informative for beginners and advanced players. It teaches the new players the basics and reminds the advanced players that it was the basics that made us advanced players.

I don't like tabs, but whenever i need to learn a new song i go here.
THIS IS THE BEST PLACE FOR TABS ON THE INTERNET

The first tabliture website I ever used and my favorite to this day. Extensive resource - perhaps only three songs lacking in 3 years? But I'll blame my eclectic taste for that. Has done for the process of finding tabliture what google has done for the purpose of finding everything else.

Verry neat stuff i onley wish it could class the tab by styles of music also,
And it would be cool to add the score under the tab to also practice your overal reading at the same time..
it s a great tool to learn the tunes but even cooler if it also had the score

Great bass tab site with tons of variety. almost any song you could want. it is always updated and it is easy to navigate.

This site rocks, I have been using it from when I first started playing.

Good site that has just about everything you are looking for.

How come they only update this monthly? Otherwise though this is a really good site. Try MxTabs.net though, you'll find t's a lot better.

If it's tabs you want, you got it! They even have tabs of dutch bands like "de heideroosjes" (i don't think they ever left the Netherlands or Belgium). So if you spend a lot of time searching tabs, you'd better bookmark this one.

This site is awesome. I just wanna say that these ad's that pop up are a waste of aggravation. they are too damn annoying

I personally think Bass Tab Archive is one of the best sites for bass tabs I have been to yet. They have a wide genre of artists. It has some tabs that are tottally wrong but any tab site where people submit tabs will. But I'd say besides that its great. Easy to navigate and all that.
Suitable for all skill levels of bassists
The Bass Tab Archive is, by far, the best tab resource for bassists that i am aware of. Chances are that if you cant find it tabbed on this site, you wont be able to find it (tabbed correctly) anywhere else.
Certainly, this site is flawed in the same way any other tab site is flawed, in that some of the tabs are posted by MORONS who have no business tabbing in the first place, but this site does better than most, and nearly all the tabs i have accessed here (hundreds) have been correct.
In addition, this site has a clean and professional look about it, as opposed to, say, tabcrawler (scum of the tab world), and seems to load fairly quickly on even the slowest connections. There are also a variety of lessons on hand, all open to access without any registration.

This site has everything your looking for. Its AWSOME!

I go here often and they usually have what I'm looking for.

Not updated every day, though it claims to be...alright though
The best bass tablature resource on the web without a doubt. Tab for all styles and levels of play, with accurate translations and full transcriptions. easy to navigate, well worth a try first

BTA isn't all its cracked up to be. Its fine for the majority of popular, mainstream type stuff. However, if you're after anything even remotely off the beaten track don't bother with this one.
Suitable for all skill levels of bassists
It's a good site with bass tabs but i feel is only for begginers to help them use their ear and play some bass lines!I say that cause a lot of tabs i printed from B.T.A. are wrong! So it helps me use my ear better to find the right line!I m rating it with 3 stars cause it must be a bass tabs site not a online school!
P.S.But it helped me anyway
Suitable for beginner bassists
It is great that it has people helping other people out by submitting their tabs. It is also great that it has guitar and bass tabs. I love the extreme amount of artists that are contained on the site.
Suitable for all skill levels of bassists
Best tab site for bass on the web.
Suitable for all skill levels of bassists
This is the largest, most vast , most updateded, bass tab list, in my point of view. Everyone should check it out. Once or twice, or more.
Suitable for all skill levels of bassists
Vast database. However I must say that lately they have a lot of annoying pop-up and pop-under ads. Other than that, it is an excellent site.
Suitable for intermediate bassists
It's hard to compete with AB for tab resources, But they do a pretty good job. The ads and pop ups are a little anoying, but they are one of those evils that we must live with.

The only thing I would have liked to have seen was a printer friendly option.Overall,it's very well constructed
Suitable for intermediate bassists
This site was alright. It had tons of tabs, just not the ones that I wanted. It is suitable for all levels though, I found some difficult tabs and some real easy ones. ummm...it could be up dated more.

I love this site. Always my first port of call for bass tabs. Sometimes it doesn't get updated as often as it should, but other than it's a fine resource.
It's prolly worth mentioning that their forums suck. They lack moderation and are full of plonkers.

It's got a huge selection of basstabs, much bigger than OLGA. I guess if I was an advanced player there wouldn't be much on there to challenge me and anyway I'd probably be able to figure out the songs myself. But anyway, for beginning and intermediate bassists it's great.
Suitable for intermediate bassists
Good tunes that are pretty accurate. not enough in the funk area but you'll be able to get your hands an all the current pop tunes.-

I think this is the best bass tab site I've seen,
and I've looked everywhere. Although it
seems most of the bass tab sites have the
same tabs, tabbed by the same people, so if
you find a tab that is not correct, or just doesn't
work right, all of the sites have the same tab,
so you can't do anything about it.

Very nice and complete. But i couldnt find Infectious Grooves Therapy.

Got to admitt this was one of the best just for basses.
-go look
It is the best tablature site out there on the web. I love that it is only for bass so there isn't any pesky guitar tabs when i'm looking for bass tabs. There is a wide selection for many styles of music (from Abba to Zappa).
Suitable for all skill levels of bassists
One of the best bass tab sites around. They mostly have mainstream bands but have a few select songs of not-so-mainstream bands. If you have a slow connection you can have some problems though. Overall, a great place to get your beloved tabs.

I may be just an intermediate player, but I have always used the Bass Tab Archive. Has great lessons, and easy to understand tabs. The real good thing about it's tabs though, is how many of them there are. You can find almost any tab on there. A great site for all users, and I highly recommend it.

If it's for bass, if it's in tab, and if it even exists, it's here. You can probably think of ten songs off the top of your head that have tabs here. Sadly, they never seem to have THAT ONE SONG I just HAVE to play, but considering how huge their collection already is, and that they already have enough to keep any music fan entertained for a good long while, I ain't complainin'!

Varied, with loads of good tabs. The site's easy to use for those of us who are totally computer illiterate, and if they don't have the tab you want, you can always request it.
Suitable for all skill levels of bassists
This is a great site that helps you cut to the chase and look for strictly bass tab instead of rooting through OGLA's list (Which is still sometimes necessary) It's definately the first site I go to when I need some help learning a song.
Suitable for all skill levels of bassists
A very large collection of bass tabs. Biggest one I've seen so far. The only part I didn't like of it was the search as it didn't pick up stuff sometimes.

Fine for the beginner - not fine if you are experienced and looking for quick tabs for more complex or non-pop / rock music.

The Bass Tab Archives.
This web page in my mind is one of the best you can get to begin your bass playing. All of the biggest bands around give you their tablatures. If you are a beginner just like me log on. Before long you will be a good bass player. So if you are into Blur or Stereophonics or even Sepultura, this is the site you want to go to.
