I've used Peavey, Ashdown and I liked them all but this combo beats them all, the size & weight @ 20 kg. are just great, I am planning to add a 1x15 Traveler cab which will give me all the power I need. It all fits in a trunk of a small Japanese car, so no more hauling around with heavy amps and cabinets!
Model Year: 2009
Price: $1175.00 Euro (new)
Where Obtained: De Monte Muziekwinkel
Features:
All specifications are the same as the earlier reviewed Little Mark II, the VLE (Vintage Loudspeaker Emulator) and VPF (Variable Pre-shape Filter) knobs are just wonderfull, they cut the highs or boost the mids. 300 Watt @ 8 Ohms, with an added 8 Ohm cab = 500 Watt @ 4 Ohms. Loud enough to beat that loud drummer!
Sound Quality:
My main bass is a Sandberg 5-string Ric-model through a Line 6 Bass Floor Pod, nothing exceptional unless played through that Markbass combo. VERY VERSATILE SOUND, from crisp modern style to beefy warm...this little combo knows it all...
Ease of Use:
Very ease to fiddle with! This is a no-nonsense amp!
Durability:
The combo is very solid both in construction and electronics. Very handy and this combo can also be used as a bass monitor (tilted back)...
