Overall Rating:
This bass is extremely cheap, even when it would have been a disappointment, this bass is handsome enough to hang on the wall as an ornament, but it does play very well, the sound is more than OK.
Model Year: 2007
Price: $99.00 (new)
Where Obtained: Music123
Features:
Made in China, body is ash with a black see-through matte paint. Neck is probably maple, rosewood fretboard. It has two volume controls and two tone controls. Active electronics with gold hardware and gingerbridges. Tuners are Sperzel Trimlock alikes.
Playability:
This little bass plays like a dream, ultralight to play, the tone is excellent!
Sound Quality:
The sound is what a fretless should produce, singing notes and oomphs and mwaaaaahs...
Durability:
Since I only have a few days, this is difficult to say, I have bought this bass just for use in my musicroom. I had to tweak the fingerbridges and the truss-rod when it arrived because there was some serious fretbuzz. But this was easily fixed.
