I looked at all the other basses in the store I frequent, played most of them, nothing comes close to a Rickenbacker sound and feel, plus looks! I'd buy 20 of this if I could. The only flaw is the tailpiece lift, and if it's re-designed to get rid of it, it'll be perfect, but even with this slight flaw, it's still the best. Get a Rickenbacker, second to none!

I have it on the lowest action possible, plays like butter! Thinnest and fastest neck of any guitar brand. It's the best bass guitar in the world! Any guitar would have one or more flaws, which doesn't? If I have to look for one on my 4001C64, it would be the tailpiece lift, very slight though, doesn't affect playability or sound.
Fender Rumble 100, gives me all the puch I need for up to midsize venues, but if I need more I can always plug straight to the PA. It can be played for all kinds of music. Played straight out of the box, or just needed one setup and intonation, that's it.
What would you expect from the best bass guitar in the world? One initial setup, Schaeller strap locks, the best solid wood...
