The silver pearl colour is very attractive, which is what caught my eye - mind you it was sitting between two Jazz sunburst models, so it stood out like a sore thumb...! Four years on and I'd be lost without this instrument.
Model Year: 2006
Price: $1000.00 AUD (new)
Where Obtained: McCanns Music Hobart
Features:
Standard Series P Bass features American Series pickups, tastefully engraved neckplate, satin tinted neck, and an eye-catching Blizzard Pearl finish to commemorate the diamond Anniversary of Fender (1946-2006), and commemorative gig bag. Adler Body - maple 'C' shape neck. Rosewood fingerboard. New Knurled Chrome P Bass Knobs. I have La Bella Hard Rockin Steel Strings on it (45/65/85/105) which sound great but are a little harsh on my poor old fingers...
Sound Quality:
I play with some accomplished musicians who have all commented favourably on the tone of this guitar. I play through a Fender Rumble 100 amp with a 15" speaker and it sounds fantasticly warm & full to my ears. We play rock & blues - of course if you have a look at anyone playing rock &/or blues, 90% will be using a P Bass.
Durability:
I've used it for nearly 4 years and it still looks & feels new. I do take excellent care of my intruments! Only issue has been with the original nut, which broke due to misuse by someone else - but a new bone replacement has been holding solidly for 12 months.

Beatiful bass.
Model Year: 2006
Price: $500.00 (new)
Features:
1 volume nob I bass/treble nob precision natural wood finish
Playability:
It plays nice, it has semi-jumbo frets.
Sound Quality:
I use a PA system, but it still sounds very smooth. You can turn the knob to make it crunchy, good for slappin.
