Passive pickups that still sound great after all these years. Needs a fretjob from over use though. I got it when it was green, it is silver now. Same black scratchplate. No idea what the original colour was.
A previous owner removed the J pickup, which is disappointing, but I get by without it.
Basically a P Bass body with a J bass neck. Original volume & tone knobs have been removed and replaced with clear perspex 'gibson' style ones - which look quite cool.
Plays beautifully. Is not as smooth as a new bass, but has a lot of character.
Is all good... Full warm sound of a P bass but slighty 'poppier' due to thinner J bass neck.
Very heavy (physically - i.e. it weighs a lot). Is 26 years old, so we'll say its durable.
