Behringer BT108 Ultrabass

15W Combo (1 x 1")

Made by Behringer

Description Great little practice amp. 4 band EQ, CD input, headphone out. Has a neat feature known as VTC or Virtual Tube Circuity that gives it a very smooth sound. I really like this amp.

I am very happy with this little amp. It is great for the person just learning or the seasoned pro who needs a cheap unit to bang around with, and is worth a lot more then they charge for it. Thanks Behringer.
Model Year: 2006
Price: $59.95 (new)
Where Obtained: Zzound.com
Features:
4 band EQ, VTC, Master volume, on/off, CD in and Phones out. Great little practice amp even at twice the price.
Sound Quality:
Very smooth and warm tone. It compares very favorably to similar sized practice amps. It blows away the stuff in the same price range such as gorrilla and First act amps. The only issue I have ever had with it is that the high range tunning nob has a slight buss at curtain freqs (I believe it might be a little lose, I just have not had time to check)
Ease of Use:
What can I say, its a practice amp. Pure plug and play.
Durability:
If I could ask for any feature to be added ( with the exception of making it a 100 watt amp for this price) it would be that the back panel be mounted differently. This unit has an open design like most practice amps of this size and the back panel is mounted midway up the back. This makes it so the top and bottom of the unit are open on the back. I like to be able to store the cord and misc junk in the back of my amp when not in use, and this design is not the best for this purpose. Other then this personal item, this unit is ROCK solid, as well built as I have seen in this size of amp.
