I got this because I was a bit unhappy with my previous tuner. I found this easier to read and with more features for the price. Perfect tuner for a pedal freak!
Price: $26.60 (new)
Where Obtained: Promusic
Features:
Features a chromatic (note based) mode, guitar mode and bass mode. Able to tune at b and bb offset. Display is LED based. A 7-segment led indicates note/strings and a gauge-like array of leds indicate relative position. You can plug this one standalone or into the amp as a standard effect so you can here yourself out of tune!
Ease of Use:
I can't seem to get this work on bass mode unless I use a pick. Chromatic mode works alright though, so I guess the response level on bass mode is set too loud. I mean, I get the right E note on the E string acording to the Chromatic, but in bass mode I can't get a good reading. One of my strings didn't make it trying to use the base mode. Being a pedal unit and due to the display, some people may need their glasses.
