Overall Rating:
When I brought this bass I was looking at this one or the Warwick Streamer Stage 2, I chose this one mainly cos it was at the same kind of level as the Warwick and it was much cheaper. I chose it because it suits my style and its very versatile. If it was stolen I would either Replace it with the same or get a Warwick. This Bass would be improved by lightening it as the Mahogany back weighs it down a bit. I love the versatility. Its an overall excellent bass with superb tone and is great for any setting.
Features:
Made in the Czech Republic in Europe its a beautiful bass with superb finish and great sound. It's active with two EMG soapbar pickups, A very good versatile bass
Playability:
The action is low as standard with very little fret buzz. The strings are close together allowing my fingers to fly over the frets with ease and comfort. I love playing this bass, as good a equivilant to the Warwick Streamer Stage2 as any.
Sound Quality:
This bass growls low down and cuts through high up, It's versatile as I can use it for absolutly any style of music, It sounds full and strong everywhere you go. I personally think that I prefer the sound on stage more than the studio but when its used on the full mix for the studio it fits into the overall sound of the band perfectly
Durability:
I live in the Uk and its handled the climate excellently I had it set up when I brought it and the intonation and truss rod has lasted excellently. Only had to change the battery once in the last year and a half, and Im playing constantly at music college so is amazing. only problem I've had are the strap locks which seem to like unscrewing themselves slightly so every now and then I have to screw them back in.
