They can add some bass effects and amps to the program as this device works just as well for bass as for guitar

Features:

USB- Powered from computer Volume Control Effects generated by software 1/4 inch input (audio). USB to computer 1/8 inch output to headphone or speakers Stereo Audio line connector to speakers 1/8 inch loop/input from computer

Sound Quality:

Jazz Amp effect great for slap playing. Mainly guitar effects- some Amp effects can make bass sound like a well distorted guitar

Ease of Use:

Program will run with most recording programs. Had a hard time for the volume set up on recording to remain a stable patch through the computers sound card. It seems they would like you to spend another $99.00 to get ther recording software. Would be nice that some of the programs they provide with this would allow a trial period. Web site has a membership fee also ???

Durability:

Very well suited for a computer connection. Padded bottom of device keeps it from scratching tables/desks etc. Much easier to install than a Creative Sound Blaster/ Sound Card system
