If this bass was stolen I don't know what I'd do. I know I would immediatly buy another one or a real vintage bass, but I don't like to think about that.
The major flaw with this bass is the bottom cutaway is not deep enough. If they dug a little deeper it be so much easier to reach the upper register. That would be the worst aspect the best would be the feel and the sound. It has such a sweet sound and feel it blows all the other basses out of the water.

This bass has passive pickups, a maple neck/rosewood fingerboard, homegrown in the USA. It has two single coil J- pickups and two vol. 1 tone controls. It has a bolt on neck, vintage style tuners and a beautiful ice blue metallic finish.
At the first annual Solo Bass Competition I got it signed by the three finalists, Steve Bailey, Victor Wooten, Anthony Jackson, Will Lee, and Jonathan Herrera of BP Magazine. Sometime I'm going to get some pix of it on my homepage so everyone can see the best bass on the planet.
This bass is perfect in every aspect except the body cutaway on the bottom. It is very hard to reach the very upper register because they didn't cut of enough would from the bass. I have thought about fixing that problem but I don't want to slice and dice this beauty.
I use an Ampeg V-4 which is my brother's, some 90's Fender bass amp, and a Peavey TKO 1-15. At church the sound quality is out standing and I wish I could make it sound that good at home too. It is, however, very noisy if you are not touching the strings or metal stuff on the body, I think it is not grounded very well so I'll have to take care of that next string change. This bass sounds best when there are DR Lowriders on it and player through the V-4 or the solid state Fender. This is the bass that has gotten me two Jazz gig offers in the next fw months so I wouldn't trade it or sell it for any amount of money.
This bass is very gig friendly. I play it for hours at home and then at church two days a week and it is great. I haven't done any upgrades or taken it for a setup, even though it could probally use it, but no strap locks, everything is stock. Overall it can deal with climate changes pretty well but the tunning will slip until it gets used to the temperature.
