If you are a fan of Ibanez (or just casually interested), this book will make the perfect Christmas/birthday gift (it was for me). From Hoshino's humble beginnings as a book store in Japan to the present subsidiary called Ibanez, this book gives you the journey (including all the bumps along they way) from point A to B. Have you ever wondered about the "lawsuit" era? This book will help you with that. This book has wonderful color photos of many of the artists using their Ibanez's in action. Also contains enough info & pictures of their guitars & basses to be a useful resource (unless you already own all their catalogs). This book is one of a kind and it can only be found at the bookstore on their website (www.ibanez.com). The price is decent ($39.95 + shipping).
Suitable for all skill levels of bassists
