This is a great compressor. I'm not much of a rack gear fan so I like this right at my feet where I can mess with it as much as I like. I love this pedal.

Features:

Controls: Compress, Post-Gain, Lamp/LED mode, Squash/Normal mode, power and effect status leds. AC and battery powered. Two 12ax7 toobs. Mono only.

Sound Quality:

Ric 4003 through a LANEY 300watt stack. Alt rock, indie. Works for most styles that require the use of a bit of compression. Best Stomp compressor out there in my opinion. Sounds brillaint, you can dial in a variety of compression using the different modes, you can also hike up the pre-gain with the Comp set low and overdrive it very sweetly. Also built for guitar and Vocals. Generally brilliant!!

Ease of Use:

REad the manual, 5 minutes later you inderstand, then you mess about for a while and find what you like, very easy and also fun!

Durability:

Electro-Harmonix gear is never gonna match Boss in the reliability stakes so it'll get 4.
