I looked at a number of mixers including Yamaha and Apex and the Behringer had more features for the same money.

I bought this mixer for home use. I use it to mix my bass, vocals, kb, Band-in-a-Box and other sources for practice and entertainment. The ULN design is great, the mixer is utterly silent in normal use. The FX are a nice bonus.
Although I only use this unit for practice and entertainment it clearly is durable enough for use in smaller venues. The case is metal and the unit can be rack mounted.
