For me this is the ideal amp for rehearsals. The price is phenomenal for the quality you get with this amp.

This Behringer has paractically the same features like the Ashdown MAG300...both are made in China.
I've experienced both amps and this Behringer head has my preference, the sound is just a tad warmer than the Ashdown head. Solid state and I love the "Shape" function of the amp, there's a footswitch included for Shape and Ultrabass.
This amp does the job very well, it's powerfull enough to rehearse and I've even gigged with this amp. In the high registers there is some hiss but that can be fixed by adjusting the horntweeter of the cabinet.
It doesn't take hours to tweak the tone you want. It's even quite simple. Compared to the Ashdown MAG300 it is more easy to find the right sound.
This amp is built like a tank.
Great value and is awesome for beginner to intermediate players, who don't have a lot of money to spend, but have an angst for a good head.

I can play real low with the "Deep Bass" function and play some slow rock, or I can use the "Bright" function and pop and slap with great clarity. To be honest I have no use and no want for the "Ultrabass" function but nice to have for a nonexistant day.
Good low qualitys and decent high qualitys.
Very easy to use and appreciate the simple knob setup.
Very rugged and can't take weight and bumps.
The price may scare some players away but in this case you get way more than you pay for. This is an excellent amp for beginners or pros, and with all its features and durablity it will last you a very long time. Just be careful and smart about what you plug it into, its got alot of power and knows how to use it.

The features on this thing can completely change the way your bass sounds. It has a shape, bass, treble knobs, along with a few others that change the deepness or pitch of your sound. The shape feature in particular really spruces up your sound and is great for solos when you want to hear every little note. It also has a feature called "Ultrabass" be careful using this. Its basically bass x 10 and some speakers can't handle it. Mine couldn't and i ended up blowing a speaker, but if you're speaker can handle it, its a sweet tool and great for heavy grindy songs. If you're smart and careful, this amp can transform the way you play. It even has a meter that shows how much power is being put out, and has a automatic safety that stops the sound if you're putting too much power into your speakers or into the amp. This sometimes doesn't work as I blew out one of my speakers, but it does protect itself from being blown out, which keeps me from worrying too much.
Sounds excellent with the right speaker. I play rock, grunge, and jazzy type stuff, and using the right features i can sound perfect for each one. Just make sure your speakers can handle what it throws at them, but if they can the sound is perfect.
The features do take awhile to get used to, but thats just because theyres just too many of them! It does take awhile to fiddle around with and find that perfect song, but its fun doing that and once you find that sound you won't believe how good you sound. The only problem is volume and how many ways you can change it, its hard to quickly turn it down or high, but once you get the hang of it its not a problem.
This amp is light enough not to complain hauling it back and forth from practices and comes with a handy handle on the side. Its carpeted on the outside with rubber ends on the sides, and so far I havent had any problems durablity wise. Its built very solidly, and I would have no worries stacking reasonably weighted things on it.
