This is the follow up to the "The Fragile", which is epic. Trent went somewhere else sith this one. The longest song is five minutes and thirty-eight seconds. There are no songs that last forever and every song is radio friendly. Trent brings in Dave Grohl from Foo/ Nirvana to play live drums and it is produced by Trent and Bob Mould.
Of course this is NIN so the lyrics are seething and full of anguish. It is up to Trents standards, but just. It doesn't tear you up like The Downward Spiral but it does still kick. I have the dual-disc version which has your standard cd on one side and the 5.1 surround sound dvd on the other side. Overall it is a very good effort from the king of industrial.
